2026 marks the 29th year of one of the most successful community outreach programs in Western New York between the Barroom Buzzards, The Baird Foundation and their family. Beginning in 1997, The Baird Foundation has provided long-standing financial support that has enabled the Barroom Buzzards to provide professional entertainment to individuals who would normally be unable to experience the joy of live music. This special concert series, named in memory of Flora Baird who established the Foundation in 1947, is performed in nursing homes, independent and assisted living facilities, hospitals, and retirement communities throughout Western New York
The Barroom Buzzards are proud to honor the legacy of Mrs. Flora Baird, whose civic leadership excelled in helping the aged, aiding residences for single women and veterans, and supporting St. Paul’s Cathedral.
